Medela Nipple Shield
Shields are recommended for a variety of different reasons – flat or inverted nipples, painful latch issues, bottle/nipple confusion transitions, etc. Please seek help from the Lactation Professional before using a shield. There are a number of things to consider prior to using this product including the size and fit of the shield and the need for a pumping plan in order to protect mom’s supply.
I prefer this nipple shield because of its soft silicone structure, its nose cut-out design which allows for the most skin-to-skin contact as possible, and its handy travel case.
