Families receive the best support in meeting their breastfeeding goals by participating in more than one consultation. There are so many factors that change drastically between the first few days of life and the first few weeks. Many goals and milestones are being reached and a learning curve is to be expected (even if it’s not your first baby). That is why I encourage the opportunity to set aside dedicated time to check back in and discuss these changes within four weeks of your initial consult. My goal is to help you achieve your desired outcomes with ease and self-confidence.

These follow-up consultations may also be helpful in situations where our care plan is more extensive, like that of a weaning schedule (which could include several months).
