Oral Exercises/Stretches Course

$50.00

Jessica Koiner, IBCLC walks you through 5 simple oral exercises and stretches that help encourage ideal oromotor function and dexterity for your infant. These exercises are helpful for several reasons. They can help us determine if a frenectomy is even necessary, help enhance and make breastfeeding more comfortable and affective, and help a baby both pre and post operatively should a frenectomy become necessary. Think of these exercises as a pre-workout of sorts AND a training session for baby in how to utilize their mouths to their fullest capacity. As a parent, having firsthand experience in the improvement of your baby’s function and reflexes gives you a unique understanding of their ability and the improvements that they may make as a result of this protocol.
