Lanna Davis, IBCLC
Lana was first introduced to the wonder of lactation while pursuing her degree in Nutritional Sciences at Texas A&M University (WHOOP!). She was fascinated by the way a woman’s body is so intricately designed with purpose, and she quickly developed a passion for learning more about lactation and infant feeding.
After graduating in 2019, Lana began her lactation education and has been immersed in the field ever since. She spent 2.5 years as a CLC student and provider-in-training here at The Milk Box, learning from an incredible team and growing her knowledge and passion for helping families.
Then, in the summer of 2024, Lana became a mom herself.
Experiencing the hardships and triumphs of lactation firsthand gave her a whole new perspective. While her professional education had taught her so much, walking through her own feeding journey gave her a deeper understanding of the emotions, uncertainty, challenges, and joys that can come alongside feeding a baby. She considers this experience an invaluable part of the empathy she brings to the families she now supports.
Lana passed her IBCLC exam in December 2025, and it has been such a joy for her to walk alongside mothers and families through their own feeding journeys. She loves helping families feel informed and confident while meeting them wherever they are in the process—whether that means troubleshooting a challenge, answering questions, celebrating a win, or simply reminding a mom that she isn’t alone.
When she’s not helping moms feed their babies, you can find Lana dreaming about her next DIY project, chasing around her toddler, or tending to her hobby farm with her husband. She loves creating, learning, and staying busy—and she's happiest when life includes a little bit of family, a little bit of dirt, and probably a project that isn't quite finished yet.
Lana is grateful to be part of The Milk Box team and feels incredibly fortunate to get to do work that she genuinely loves: supporting moms, babies, and families during such an important season of life.
