Founder
Jessica Koiner is the founder of The Milk Box and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with a background in biology, nutrition, and dietetics.
Her passion for lactation care began with her own experience as a mother. After the birth of her first child in 2017, Jessica quickly discovered just how challenging and complex breastfeeding could be. After working with several lactation consultants herself, she was inspired to pursue the education and training necessary to become an IBCLC so she could provide the kind of knowledgeable, compassionate support she wished every parent had access to.
Jessica earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Texas Christian University (TCU) and has a background in nutrition and dietetics. She has a longstanding interest in wellness and a genuine passion for helping others feel confident and supported in reaching their goals.
Through The Milk Box, Jessica has built a practice centered on individualized, evidence-based care. Her goal is to help families better understand their options, navigate challenges with confidence, and feel empowered to make the decisions that are right for them and their babies.
Jessica believes that becoming a parent is one of life’s biggest transitions—and that no one should have to navigate infant feeding alone. Whether a family is preparing for a new baby, working through breastfeeding challenges, managing pumping or milk supply, or simply looking for reassurance and guidance, she is passionate about meeting each family where they are.
What began as Jessica’s personal journey has grown into The Milk Box—a team dedicated to supporting families with knowledge, compassion, and practical tools for their feeding journey.
Because supporting parents isn’t just about lactation. It’s about supporting the whole family.
